The Marketing Manager for West Michigan Roofing and Constructions residential roofing and exterior and commercial roofing division is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing marketing strategies that promote the company’s residential roofing and exterior division and commercial roofing division products and services. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and driving sales in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Develop strategies and campaigns focused on lead generation through digital, social media and traditional channels, working closely with sales teams to convert leads into clients.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create, implement, and optimize a comprehensive marketing strategy that targets the retrofit residential and commercial roofing sector, aligning with company goals and industry trends and best practices.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and manage digital, print, and outdoor advertising campaigns, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media, email marketing, referral and review management including direct mail to reach target audiences.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Analyze data to identify opportunities for new marketing initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of marketing content such as website updates, blog posts, product brochures, videos, and advertisements tailored to the residential and commercial roofing market.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Analyze data to identify opportunities for new marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Management: Maintain a consistent and compelling brand image across all marketing channels. Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines to increase lead generation and drive sales.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide materials, resources, and insights that support their efforts to close deals with potential clients.
  • Digital Marketing Oversight: Manage the company's digital presence, including website SEO, PPC advertising, and social media. Track and report on website analytics to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors such as advertising agencies, designers, and printers. Manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Event Planning: Organize and execute events, such as trade shows, promotional events, and other promotional activities that support lead generation and brand visibility.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns. Adjust strategies based on insights gained.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the housing, real estate, home improvement or construction industry.
  • PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in the home improvement, real estate or construction industry
  • Familiarity with home improvement, remodeling and construction trends.
  • Background in managing budgets and marketing vendors

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in lead generation for a highly qualified sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (SEO, SEM, social media platforms, email marketing).
  • Experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
